Effix Pavilion

The proposal is an architecture exploiting the innovative features of i.active BIODYNAMIC fitting in the Seaside Park as a new landmark for the city of Varna. The design concept arises from the base cell of the furnishing, a grid of 0.60 m that forms the individual module of 1.90x1.90 m in length and bredth and 3.60 m in height. Its geometry allows a high permeability and spatial flexibility; multiple sale solutions can be obtained through various combination of the modules.

The main features of i.active BIODYNAMIC are exploited working on low thickness, highlighting the high surface yield and obtaining an object from plastics and light lines. The shape is designed to be realized both as a single block or as a three main parts piece to facilitate transportation. With the help of digitally-controlled CNC machines engraving and drilling increase the potential of material i.active BIODYNAMIC offering plays of light and shadow that let the pavilion vibrate between the landscape of the park.
