Our new website and new identity are out now. Designed by Bahut Studio, this new visual direction reflects Set Architect’s core principles in architecture and design: essential, archetypal, and non-generic. The renewed logo and website are central to this shift, echoed across printed materials and presentations.

Tomorrow, 27 May 2025, Set Architects will hold a lecture within the Contemporary Architecture course of Professor Alina Aggujaro, entitled ‘Unstructured Time,’ analysing the relationship between architecture, history, and memory through the studio’s projects.

On the occasion of Open House 2025, Set Architects will be present at Casa Platform Roma to present the renovation project of one of the spaces of Palazzo Taverna in Rome.

On November 7, Andrea Tanci will hold a lesson on the theme of interior design in a historical context, within the interior design course of the Rome program of the University of Arkansas, in the prestigious location of Palazzo Taverna. The conference presents the results of the research project En Plein Air. Minimal architecture, maximum sustainability, supported by Sustainable Architectures for Cultural Sites, an initiative promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture.

On Tuesday, October 3, Set Architects will be a guest at the University of Arkansas Rome Program for a lecture on the studio’s work.

On the occasion of Open House 2023, Set Architects, together with GICO, Supervoid and WAR, will hold a talk directed by Matteo Costanzo, recounting their experiences and their history as a young architectural practice operating in the Roman territory.

We are pleased to announce that our project “LIVING PROXIMITIES” has been awarded the second prize at Europan 15 – Productive cities for the site of Täby (Se). The project was developed with Andrea Di Renzo. Thanks to the jury members and our team involved in the project.

SET Architects has taken part at “SPAM – Settimana del progetto di architettura nel mondo” an event hosted inside the “Casa dell’Architettura” in Rome. We spoke about urban regeneration and what we can do to put architecture at the centre of our cities’ agenda.

The third edition of the Biennale di Architettura di Pisa will take place at the Republican Arsenal of Pisa from the 21.11 to the 01.12.2019. SET is happy to participate, in collaboration with MAO Ljubljana, Future Architecture Platform and Miruna Dunu, in a challenging reflection about water and time, proposing a vision for a new resilient urban model.

We are happy to take part in this year’s edition of the New Generation Festival. On 06.09, we were present at the speaking corner together with other great offices from around the world. The book “ATLAS from emerging practice” by G. Venturini was presented during this year’s edition, and we are featured in it with our work “Bologna Shoah Memorial.

On 21.06, Set Architects was present with a lecture titled “Constructing Memory” at the University of Bologna during the workshop called “Spaces of Memory – Museums, Architecture and the City”.

The first edition of “Scaliurbani – Conversazioni di Architettura” will be held in Livorno from 11/06 to 13/06. It is an international event curated by the “Ordine degli Architetti PPC” of Livorno to express the shared desire for quality in the territories we live in.  Set Architects will be present with a lecture, together with great European architectural offices.

Next 28/05/19, Set Architects will be present with a lecture during the round table about design competitions.
This will be an important moment of confrontation to reflect together on the tool of the design competition for the development of urban quality and of the territories, organised by the Competition Area of the OAR.

Together with studio DEMOGO, Set Architects is invited to give a lecture on monumentality at the IUAV of Venice, during the design course held by Prof. Sara Marini.

On the occasion of the exhibition from 6th to 11th May “NIB Award 2018 -TOP 10 -Architecture and Landscape” by TA.R.I-Architects – during the OPEN HOUSE ROMA 2019 – Set Architects will be participating with a lecture in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Architecture of the Sapienza University of Rome.

May 7, 2019, Set Architects, together with photographer Simone Bossi, will talk about the relationship between designers and photographers in Architecture. This is the topic at the centre of Obiettivo Architettura, the exhibition curated by MAXXI and conceived by Lucia Bosso, which aims to investigate the relationship between an architecture, its designer and the photographer.

On Tuesday, February 12, 2019, we will host the students of the University of Southern California in our Roman office, we’ll talk about our practice and share our experiences.

We are pleased to announce that we are among the 12 international firms selected for the second stage of Tallinn Architecture Biennale 2019 Installation Programme Competition.

Set Architects will be present at “4 Lezioni”, which is a travelling format of conferences next 24.11.2018 in Como, Italy. The “Commissione Giovani Architetti di Como” has invited Set Architects to present our recent professional experiences.

Next 19.12.18 Set Architects will be present at University of Tor Vergata in Rome with a lecture titled “Radici” during the “Laboratorio di Storia dell’Architettura e dell’Arte 1” program organized by Prof.ssa Maria Grazia D’Amelio and Dott. Lorenzo Grieco.

Set Architects will be present at the 3 days of lectures “Nuovo Disegno di Architettura italiano – La centralità ritrovata” organised by Carlo Prati and taking place at Macro Asilo Museum in Rome from 28.11.2018 until 30.11.2018.

Next 30.11.2018, Set Architects will be lecturing during the exhibit design course by Prof. Arch. Daniele Durante.

SET will be present at the 2 days of workshop “Re-imagining Warsaw” from November 15th-16th, 2018, in Warsaw.
The 2-day workshop will aim to create speculative scenarios for the future of Warsaw.

Set Architects will be among the Future Architecture Teams to take part in the Living with Water exhibition that looks at scenarios for urban developments that explore synergetic relationships between the human and natural environments. The opening is set for 18. October 2018 and the exhibition will last until 24. March 2019.

Set Architects will be present at the “Congresso Nazionale Architetti” in Rome with an intervention at 6.00 pm on Thursday, 5 July entitled “Presentazione Concorsi di Architettura e Qualità del Progetto”. We are waiting for you at the event!

We are happy to announce that our project for the construction of the new school complex in Sassa (AQ) has resulted in being classified first in the two-stage competition organised by the municipality of L’Aquila! The New school complex will host 520 students, including kindergarten, primary and secondary school.

On the 27th of April, we’ll hold a lecture in Lucca, “Towards an essential architecture”. It will take place at the “Auditorium fondazione cassa di risparmio di Lucca”. This event it’s part of a series of lectures named “What is Architecture?” organised by the “Ordine degli Architetti di Lucca”

We are very happy to share that Set Architects was awarded Young Italian Architect 2018 by Associazione Italiana di Architettura e Critica – pressTFactory at Palazzo Widmann during the opening of the Venice Biennale! Thanks to all the jury members!

On the 5th of March, we will hold a lecture at the “Camera di commercio Massa-Carrara”. We will talk about our experience with design competitions and the design quality itself.

Tomorrow, November 7, at 5:00 pm, we will hold a lecture about our work at the Florence School of Architecture (Aula 9). Prof. Francesca Mugnai will introduce the conference.

We are glad to announce our new collaboration with mint LIST for the New Generations Festival 2017, kicking off in Rome from September 24-26th, 2017. During the event, inside the Casa dell’Architettura, there will be PRESS BOX designed by our studio, a site-specific installation which will encompass a reading area.

Bologna Shoah Memorial has been selected by the International Jury of the Barbara Cappochin  Biennial Architecture Prize. We will be present during the Architectural Table on the 26, 27, and 28 October.

We are glad to announce that we are among the winners of the tenth edition of the Dedalo Minosse International Prize with the Laboratorio Morseletto Special Award.

This Thursday, we will be present at the “Biennale Spazio Pubblico” talking about the relationship between architect and client.

Thursday, April 6, during the Fuorisalone in Milan, we will be attending “In-contest”, an event organised by Superficial Studio. There, we will talk about the competitions that make culture!

On the 2nd of February in Bologna has been presented “Tzachor”, the official catalogue and the documentary on the Shoah Memorial, that shows the entire path from the competition to realisation.

Three of our works – ALBUM, Bologna Shoah Memorial and Città PARCO – have been published in the book “Advanced Architecture” Vol. 2 by DAMDI Publishing.

Set Architects has been nominated as director for the selection of young talents in the category “Architecture” and will deal with the selection of finalists for the prize promoted by New Italian Blood during 2017.

Set Architects was ranked first according to the contest “100 storie di creatività del Lazio” in the “Architecture and Design” category. The contest is designed to promote the talent of the 100 best creatives in the field of architecture, fashion, photography, cinema, theatre, etc. of the “Regione Lazio”. SET will be among the protagonists of the book “Lazio Creativo 2017”, a publication that showcases the top 100 creative groups under 35 of the Lazio Region, describing their stories, projects and their creative ideas.

We are very pleased to participate in “CONTROCAMPO. Gli architetti italiani ci mettono la faccia”. The exhibition, curated by Luca Molinari and Alessandro Benetti, opens up on Thursday, December 15, at 18.30, at “Spazio FMG per l’Architettura” Via Marcona 27, Milan. “CONTROCAMPO. Gli architetti italiani ci mettono la faccia” is a new perspective on the world of design that focuses on those who draw and build the best Italian architecture every day, portraying them for the first time in a surprising group photo.

We are happy to announce that SET architects has just won Florim4Architects EXHIB-IT international competition! SET will realise its sustainable installation at the Florim Flagship Store in Milan during the Salone del Mobile 2016! Come to look at it at Foro Buonaparte 14, Milan, on the 13th of April.

Last Wednesday, on the 27th of January 2017, on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Bologna Shoah Memorial was inaugurated.

SET would like to thank all the companies and professionals who made it possible, as well as the Jewish Community and the City of Bologna, its citizens, and all the institutional representatives who attended the event.
